Mini and long spicules: why length matters

Not all spicules do the same job. Length and the balance between short and long structures change how mechanical stimulation is distributed across the epidermis.

Two groups in Micro Boost 10%

The professional serum combines 40% mini spicules, approximately 80–100 microns, with 60% long spicules, approximately 300–360 microns.

Different levels of stimulation

Short spicules act mainly in the outer layers of the epidermis, while longer spicules give a more intense stimulus and reach deeper layers of the skin.

A porous structure

Under the microscope each spicule is porous with an elongated inner cavity, almost like a miniature cannelloni. Combined with temporary microscopic pathways, this supports the Hybrid Spicule Delivery System.
